Ali and Roman’s wedding was a rare and unforgettable celebration…a gathering of kindred spirits where music, art, and deep connection set the tone. Held at Gulls Way Estate in Malibu, the day felt like something out of a dream.

Both Ali and Roman are celebrated songwriters who have helped shape the soundtracks of a generation, writing for artists like Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, Elton John, and so many other major artists. Despite their shared world of music, it wasn’t until a chance encounter at a grocery store that their paths truly crossed. A year later, they were engaged.

While their original plans were delayed by COVID, when the moment finally arrived, it was beyond worth the wait. The celebration was infused with joy, intimacy, and boundless creative energy. As night fell, an impromptu concert erupted, with friends and collaborators, including Adam Levine, Andrew Watt, Chad Smith, and Ryan Tedder, gracing the stage. The spontaneous performances turned the evening into something electric and unforgettable. Ali even stepped up to the mic herself, making the night even more personal. The music wasn’t just entertainment, it was a reflection of the community they’ve built and the life they share together.

From the start, Ali and Roman made it clear they wanted their wedding captured through an artistic lens. They weren’t looking for a formulaic approach but for moments that felt real and true. They gave me the freedom to shoot intuitively, to explore light, shape, and emotion, and that trust was a gift.

The images from their day came together in a way that feels layered, honest, and deeply reflective of who they are. I’m incredibly honored to share that this love story was featured in Vogue.
