Ali & Roman. Gulls Way Estate.
Music was the food of love at Ali Tamposi and Roman Campolo’s Malibu wedding. Featured on Vogue Weddings.
Ali & Roman’s celebration was truly an unforgettable experience. Music has always been such a passion of mine so it’s no wonder I enjoyed being a part of their day so much. These two are both highly accomplished song writers that have worked with some of the top artists in the music industry . Despite having similar professions, they randomly met each other at a grocery store and a year later were engaged. Although this wedding was suppose to happen earlier, COVID had other plans. A year and a venue change later, they finally got to celebrate with all their loved ones and make it official at Gulls Way (Dick Clark’s Estate) in Malibu.
Since music was such a central part of their relationship, many of their close friends performed throughout the day to make the event feel even more personal. My favorite part of the celebration had to be in the evening when many of Ali and Roman’s friends decided to put on a last minute concert for the couple. Ali also ended up hoping on stage to perform a few songs.
When I first spoke to the couple, it was clear that they were more interested in an artful approach to their day and I was really excited that they gave me so much creative freedom to be myself and shoot instinctually instead of adhering to a shot list. It really allowed me to experiment with light, composition, and emotion and I’m so happy with the way this story came together visually. I’m also excited to share that this wedding was featured on VOGUE and the article can seen here.
